RSSMidwest Ska Fest 2006
So... i never made an entry for this. Uh... It was awesome. We hit traffic and then had to take the train, so we were late (sorry ashleigh!) and missed MANIC SEWING CIRCLE and Flatliners and came in for a band called "Lord Makes Dirty Calypsonians". Don't know if I'd download, but it was definitely fun to salsa with some lovely ladies ;-)
Deals Gone Bad was more than enjoyable, as expected, but the minute that Mustard Plug got on stage I about crapped my pants. I had never seen them before, so I was especially glad that their set included just about every one of my favorite songs by them. Nothing But Classics is how I would describe, and not at all in a bad way. I sweated WAY too much and about skanked myself to death, but it was all entirely worth it. Needless to say, I slept well that night.
Will definitely be attending every year possible.
