Windows XP x64 is not supported by MyStrands Discovery for Windows ?

I have a 64bit AMD processor and I'm using Windows x64. I installed MyStrands for
iTunes and the MyStrands program crashes everytime I try to start it.

It does ask me for the email and password and it loads the GUI, but immediately after that it crashes. Same seems to happen with MyStrands for WMP. The exception that it raises is "System.BadImageFormatException".

Is this just a bug, or isn't Windows XP x64 supported by MyStrands ?

Recommendation Radio blog entry

Very Pandora! Except it's based on our own collection--which I prefer. Is that a demo app or is it supposed to actually play? It let me log into my account and pulled my tracks, but didn't play sound and went song to song. A demo? Is there a way for us non-programmers to use it?! :)

Byron, please tell me you are going to post about the update to MyStrands (the download, not the site)! I can't believe you've taken the next step of including iPod plays! Thank you!! And AutoFill is wonderful!! MusicMatch's AutoDJ was one of my favorite features and you all are giving me that same functionality with my digital music. Thank you!! Great job.

Journal editing not working (sometimes)

I've just noticed that editing a journal entry sometimes doesnt work. I've been trying to add/update to my only journal but when i press Post, it brings me back to the Main www.musicstrands.com page without updating the journal. Tried numerous times with no difference.

Just thought I'd let you guys know.

This site is great! Keep up the great work!

Tracks submitted weeks ago are being mysteriouly repeated over and over....

OK, I played the equivalent of one Depeche Mode album and one Dears album about four weeks ago.
The strange thing is, some of the tracks I played back then are being submitted repeatedly for some strange reason, and I keep seeing them in my 'recently played'!!
I don't even have the albums on my computer - I played them straight off CD.

This is distorting my profile considerably, as both bands (or at least some of their songs) are at the top of my profile now as 'top'/'most played' - which isn't the case at all!!
Very annoying, as it means that the recommended users function is of little use. They're bands I hardly play at all and yet it looks like I keep playing the same songs over and over......

Anyone else noticing this? Apologies if this has been discussed already, but I just joined this Forum and have to leave for work now!

Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks :-)

Navigation

Is it just me or is the site navigation a little lacking? I've uploaded a Playlist from what I was listening to (which ended up being empty for some reason) and then imported another playlist from an XML export, but I can't find them!

Where o where do I navigate to so that I can see my own playlists?

Other than that the site rocks and the application is great!

"update available" when current

On every start of strands it tells me that a more recent version is available. Even if I re-install. Help-->about shows the latest version.

I love these charts!! Great job. Any chance you can make it so the results can be displayed on our profile page? I don't have a site to paste the code into, but I would love to be able to generate those charts on my MS profile page. :)
