Blend of Rock/Pop/Country and Indie
Biography
A vast emotional landscape is the closest one can come to describing Clare Hyde’s unique voice and music in mere words. A chance encounter with producer/engineer Ike Nossel and the subsequent involvement of ex Warner director and now owner of Redemption Records Phil Knox-Roberts and Nashville based Valhalla Music Group led to the making of her first full length CD Barebones. A mix of eclectic jazz influenced tunes tinged with an indie rock element and a dash of contemporary country takes the listener on a journey of varying emotions. From the bleak wasteland of the title track “Barebones” to the Cajun influenced “It’s Always Midnight” this is a debut offering from a serious artist who delivers from the innermost reaches of her soul. Gigs are lined up in the UK, France, Canada and North America to promote “Barebones”. In late August through to September she hopes to be touring across the UK supporting Sony/BMG artist Rebecca Lynn Howard, Valhalla Music’s Roxy Dean and Patrick Jason Mathews. Check in here soon for confirmed dates. In the meantime give the tunes a listen, more samples to be uploaded soon. Release scheduled for May 2006.
